THE RED & WHITE BALL Hosted by American Red Cross Metro NY North

Chandeliers dramatically transform The New York Botanical Garden’s landmark Enid A. Haupt Conservatory into the country’s largest curated show featuring orchids. Eye-catching baskets and cylinders filled with the stunning tropical flowers decorate the Seasonal Exhibi- tion Galleries in the Garden’s Victorian-style glasshouse—the largest of its kind in the coun- try—with a giant star-shaped chandelier over- flowing with hundreds of orchids as the center- piece of this year’s visual extravaganza. This beautiful show has been refreshed to in- clude many new and exciting dealers special- izing in sculpture, ornaments, and furniture for the garden, and garden-related objects for the home. Bold and refined, contemporary and classic—and more engaging than ever. The New York Botanical Garden is a mu- seum of plants located at Bronx River Parkway (Exit 7W) and Fordham Road. The Garden is open year-round, Tuesday through Sunday and Monday federal holidays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The best way to enjoy the Garden is with the All-Garden Pass, which includes admission to the grounds as well as to seasonal gardens, ex- hibitions, and attractions such as the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, Everett Children’s Adven- ture Garden, and Tram Tour. 2900 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY. 718-817-8700; nybg.org ANTIQUE GARDEN FURNITURE FAIR April 24 - 26
