On 15th September 2014, the Whistl brand was launched! While we’ve been in business for years under different names, 10 years ago marked the start of our journey as Whistl. What a decade it’s been! Check out our video on Marvin detailing some milestones throughout the years.

Christmas Pay Dates To help you to start financially planning your Christmas, we are bringing the pay dates for December and January forward. December 2024 – Monday 23rd December January 2025 – Thursday 23rd January 2025 For Hourly paid employees the below hours will be paid as per the pay dates listed above: December 2024 – (17th November – 14th December – 4 weeks) January 2025 – (15th December – 11th January – 4 weeks) February 2025 – (12th January – 15th February – 5 weeks)
We have received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for our target to reach net-zero by 2045 and help limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
The SBTi is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions
This validation shows that we are taking credible, science-based action to mitigate climate change, with a clear pathway toward achieving net-zero emissions. reduction targets in line with the latest climate science. Parcelhub is now live! We have now launched Parcelhub as a singular brand, combining both Whistl Parcels and Parcelhub.

Macmillan Coffee Mornings Huge well done to our Marlow and Bedford sites who recently hosted Macmillan Coffee Morning’s with lots of tasty baked treats. In total, Marlow raised an amazing: £63.23, and Bedford raised a whopping £242.80 ! Well done to all involved! If your site held a Macmillan Coffee Morning, let us know!
Menopause Awareness October is Menopause Awareness Month.
Our Wellbeing Team will be helping to raise
awareness throughout October so keep an eye out for more information including an online Menopause Workshop available for all employees to join.
Andy’s Man Club visits Glasgow In September, Andy’s Man Club visited our Glasgow depot to raise awareness about their support network.
They offer a safe space for men to talk and encourage our colleagues to join if they need help. For more information on the work Andy’s Man Club do, visit Marvin.

ISO 27001
At Whistl, we prioritise the security of our information and systems, continuously reviewing our practices to maintain our ISO 27001 certification – a global standard for information security. As part of this certification, LRQA, our external auditors, will visit several sites in October and November for follow-up audits to ensure we stay compliant.
