In other words, there's a real party atmosphere at times. You can feel that there's a very special APG signature. Jean-Louis Baroux, APG founder: The APG signature is based on a very simple observation: either you know what to do and you do it well, or you don't know what to do and you don't do it. As far as World Connect is concerned, if we want to motivate people from all over the world to take part - and let me remind you that there are at least 80 countries
represented, as well as numerous airlines - it has to be enjoyable. The people who come to see us are like friends, they make an effort to travel and set aside time for this event. The least we can do is to welcome them in the best possible conditions: we do this with Taittinger cham- pagne, to show that we want the event and our guests' eyes to shine. At the gala dinner, we want the participants to wear dinner jackets, long dresses, evening wear, so that people see themselves as beautiful. And when they see themselves as beautiful, they are great. The gala evening is preceded by a piano concert by the winner of the Prix Cortot, a benchmark in France, a prize that we also subsidise: this year it's 17-year-old Ryan Wang who will be performing at World Connect. Jean-Louis Baroux: Yes, there is an annual regional meeting for each continent, which means four mee- tings a year, with Asia and the Pacific forming a
