Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” 1 John 3:2. “But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep. For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we that are alive that are left, shall together with them be^caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the a ir: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”, 1 Thess. 4:13-18. The saints who have passed into the other world will be raised from the dead at the coming of Christ for His saints. “This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.” Rev. 20:5-6. I have been asked how there could be a resurrection which would leave the wicked dead in the dust of the earth. The redemp tion of Christ is a three-fold redemption. Our spirit, soul and body are embraced in the blessed redemptive work of Jesus Christ. The “washing of regeneration by the Holy Spirit” magnetizes the spirit, soul and body. The blood of Christ touched the earth upon which we live. Thank God a new earth is to appear. Suppose I place thousands of steel needles and brass pins in the ground and I hold a magnet over them. The needles will instantly respond to the power of the magnet, and the pins will not move. The re generated sons of God will instantly rush forth from the dust when Jesus Christ comes for them. The body will not be subject to

wife, who has also sold wheat at a fancy price, and who lost his suit against the Brooklyn Daily Eagle because they exposed him, who tells us the Millennium began in 1870. Others equally blind and unscrip- tural maintain the idea that death is the second coming of Christ. Why not take Christ’s own word for it? He certainly should have a right to speak on the sub ject, and His authority cannot be ques tioned. “For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.” Matt. 24:27. According to the Saviour, there can be no Millennium until He comes in glory and great power and inaugurates it. This is sane and perfectly logical. An all-sufficient Cause must be introduced to produce such a tremendous effect. But before He comes to end the carnival of lust, political chican ery and criminality which is constantly in evidence in the world system now predom inant in human government, He will call His blood washed saints away from the earth, and they shall escape the frightful reign of anarchy which will sweep the earth during the “seventieth week” spoken of by the Prophet Daniel. The rapture ofr the saints is the sweetest hope that has ever dawned in the human heart. I own no property in a cemetery of this earth. I am not preparing for a funeral, but I am pray ing that He shall come, whose right it is to reign, and shall call all His children to His place in glory. There will be living saints when He comes. Paul writes: “Behold I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, in a MOMENT, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incor ruptible, and WE SHALL BE CHANGED.” 1 Cor. IS :51-52. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be. But we know that when He shall appear we shall be like
