lessons of the quarter? What do the les­ sons of the quarter teach about the Word of God? What particular duties are en­ forced in tlie lessons of the quarter ? Still another good review could be had by taking up each lesson briefly and asking the Subjects, Principal People, Leading Lesson and Best Verse of each, and closing by ask­ ing what is the greatest lesson in the whole quarter. The material for a satisfactory review along these lines will be found in the pre­ ceding pages and need not be repeated. As­ sign as much work as possible to the schol­ ars beforehand. Do not try to cover too much ground. Drive home the great central truths of the quarter.

God, about faith, about salvation, about un­ belief. Of the six kings, one was good, four were bad, one was good but had a ter­ rible fall. The tendency of the history of both kingdoms was constantly downward toward the ultimate ruin in which it all cul­ minated. A good ‘way to review the les­ sons of the quarter would be to take them up by characters, assign the different schol­ ars the different kings and prophets and the Queen of Sheba, and require them to be able to state briefly the lessons to be learned from each character. Another profitable method of review would be by doctrines, what do the lessons of the quarter teach about God ? What do they teach about prayer? WThat do they teach about sin?
