D iscover a fable born out of our desire to work with each other and the power of Nature to create experiences to savour, like this harmonious expression of the varietal with zip and texture of clay soil on the palate and aromatic lime, white floral and stone fruit, mineral character on the nose. Long ago, when the world was young, Mwazé a gentle turtle and Nguma a mighty shark struck up an unlikely friendship in the clear waters of the Comoros Islands. Though different in many ways, they had shared the sea for years, and over time, formed a strong bond. While Nguma was powerful and fast, Mwazé was wise and patient. Together, they explored the deep oceans, always looking out for one another. One day, as the two friends were swimming near a beautiful coral reef, they came across a fishing net tangled in the rocks. The net had trapped many small fish, and seeing the trapped creatures struggling, Mwazé felt a pang of sadness. “These poor fish!” Mwazé said, “We must help them escape before the fishermen return.” Nguma, always eager to show his strength, offered to break the net. “I will tear through it with my teeth,” he declared confidently.

But as Nguma bit down on the tough ropes of the net, his teeth couldn’t cut through. He thrashed and pulled, but the net held
