We have designed the module to give insights of global issues through the lens of both business and wider society. Year 3: Critical Issues in Management This final year module brings together all of your learning. You will have the opportunity to put your experience and knowledge into practice by analysing case studies of topical situations and companies. You will hone your skills by working in groups to prepare you as a work ready graduate.
The CORE Spine modules serve as a base upon which you can customise your academic path. Each course will also include core modules that are specific to that degree, and a variety of electives and pathways that will allow you to shape your degree according to your interests. Year 1: Foundations, Skills and Debates Foundations, Skills and Debates is a pivotal module for all first-year students as it supports your transition from formal education to the business school environment. You will work on academic writing, creativity, presentation, and teamwork skills as well as negotiation, complex problem solving and debate.
All of our courses are made to equip you with the skills and knowledge to unlock your fullest potential. Every degree course includes CORE Spine modules from year one through to your final year. These are the backbone of our courses as they are designed to give you a basic understanding of various business concepts, as well as essential university study and every-day workplace skills. The CORE Spine modules provide a strong foundation that underpins both academic skills and your employability and they also count towards the Warwick Award.
