BSc International Management

Start date: Sept 2025

Duration: 4 years full-time ( with year abroad) UCAS code: N290

“Embarking on a year abroad is an extraordinary experience with many benefits. It fuels personal growth by allowing you to learn about yourself and develop new skills outside of an academic context. You will meet many amazing people and create lots of cherished memories. Embrace the unknown, discover the world, and unlock the infinite possibilities that await.” Isabel Ko BSc International Management with Digital Business (current student) (Completed Year Abroad in Singapore)

Year abroad Spending a year abroad is an integral part of your BSc International Management degree. During that year, you can study at a partner university, take a work placement, or a combination of the two. Current partnerships are offered in Australia, Canada, China, Japan, South Africa, Singapore, South Korea, the United States and numerous countries across Europe, to mention just a few. Evidence shared by the Gone International: Rising Aspirations report suggests that students taking a year abroad as part of their degree are more likely to secure a ‘graduate-level’ job within six months of graduating (Universities UK International, 2019). Our WBS CareersPlus and Employer Relations team will provide advice and guidance on finding a work placement.

Overview Our BSc International Management course will enable you to learn how to operate across cultural boundaries, embrace different perspectives and challenge traditional ways of thinking. You will gain great international exposure during your year abroad and will leave feeling empowered and ready to start your future career. You can also tailor your degree towards your career aspirations by studying one of our course pathways in Accounting, Digital Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Strategy and Organisation, or a language (Chinese, French or Spanish).
