BSc Management
Year 1 Term 1: You will study four core modules (including a CORE Spine module) introducing you to the key areas of business. Term 2: You will study three core modules and one elective where you can choose between Business Analytics, Digital Ventures, Management of Global Risks or a language.
Final Year Term 1: You will study one CORE Spine module and three electives.
Exemptions If you study specific accounting or finance modules as part of your degree you may be eligible for exemptions from a number of professional accountancy exams. Term Term 1: Oct–Dec
Elective modules You can choose elective modules from a range of subject areas including: strategy, human resources, ethics, equality and diversity, employment relations, law and accounting. You may also select subjects from outside of WBS such as economics or a language. Course pathways If you have a passion for Accounting, Digital Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Strategy and Organisation, you can choose to study one of our recognised pathways throughout your BSc Management or BSc Management with Placement Year degree. Each pathway has been developed to build your knowledge within that subject area and upon graduation your recognised pathway will be added to your transcript.
Term 2: If you decide to study one of our recognised pathways you will continue to study elective modules relevant for that pathway or you can choose electives from topics such as Behavioural Science, Business Law or Analytics.

Year 2 Terms 1 and 2: You will study three core modules (including a CORE Spine module) and five electives meaning that you will be able to choose electives to contribute to the Accounting, Digital Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing or Strategy and Organisation pathways.
If you choose to study BSc Management with Placement Year, you will complete your work placement in your third year and will return to WBS in your fourth year to complete your final year modules.
