Course pathways
If you study any variant of our BSc Management course (including with Placement Year, Foundation Year, or both), or International Management, you can focus your studies around a particular subject of interest to you by following one of our recognised pathways. Each pathway has been developed to build your knowledge within that subject area and upon graduation your recognised pathway will be added to your transcript. Our pathways add real value to your CV when starting your career. If you decide to study a course pathway the core and elective modules that you study during your first year may count towards your pathway. There is lots of information, advice and guidance available in your first year to help you make your module choices. To give you an idea of what studying a pathway could entail we have shown some examples on the following pages.
Our programme is designed to be flexible. For those students who have greater certainty over the career that they wish to pursue we have developed a number of pathways. They have been designed by our experienced faculty with input from employers. These pathways allow students to gain expertise to improve employability in their chosen sector.” Mark Johnson Professor of Operations Management Associate Dean (Undergraduate programmes)
