■ Career achievements: Managed a portfolio of humanitarian aid projects in Uganda and Turkey, addressing refugee children’s health and education needs during the Covid-19 pandemic, with a total budget of US$8 million. Developed four comprehensive project proposals, which expanded the programme budget by US$6 million and 30,000 new beneficiaries by securing funding from UNHCR and the USAID. Led the publication of a UNDP Situation Report on Afghanistan’s banking and financial system following the country’s August 2021 regime change.
