The merger helped the firm to diversify into five new practice areas and onboard five new lawyers, resulting in revenue growth of 30%. Led the collaboration of two teams to advise a new asset reconstruction company on a first of its kind transaction; acquiring a portfolio of non-performing assets from a non- banking financial company. Resulted in the firm’s highest revenue transaction (US$250,000) in 2019 and led to repeat mandates from the client with an average billing of US$100,000 annually. Led a four-member team to advise more than 25 clients, comprising of Indian and international banks, funds and financial institutions. Enabled more than 200 finance, infrastructure, renewable energy and real estate transactions, worth US$4 billion, making the practice the most profitable in the firm vis-à-vis team cost.
