THE ROLE
ACQUISITIONS LEAD One Heritage are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised, self-motivated, trustworthy person to lead and manage the development of the pipeline and subsequent acquisition of opportunities wo manage the development of the pipeline and subsequent acquisition of opportunities working for and reporting directly to the Development Director. The role requires the applicant to work with other members of the development team to build and deliver the acquisition of the development pipeline. With a focus on existing and new markets (predominantly across the Northwest through the Midlands) to identify opportunities for development (both land and existing buildings) in conjunction with the development team and development director. This will include understanding the development potential of a site or building, looking for ways to maximise value and provide risk analysis looking at metrics such as cost, planning and programme. The following summarises the duties (but it is not extensive): • Develop and maintain an extensive network of agents and landowners. • Find off market opportunities. • Structure deals that are beneficial to the business including options and subject to planning deals. • Run initial development appraisals on opportunities to ascertain their suitability. • Work closely with the development team to run development appraisals. • Manage stakeholder relations including agents, landowners and internal within business. • Responsibility for internal reporting including weekly pipeline update. • Report opportunities to development committee including preparation and presentation of scheme. • Manage acquisition process through to completion. Required Opportunities • The Group will consider a wide range of opportunities wit projects ranging from 15- 500 units. The preferred location is north of London to Scotland with a focus on the Northwest and East Midlands. • Existing buildings with or without planning approval. • Sites with new build and existing buildings. • Land for development of apartments in core urban areas. • Land for development of new build housing.
