Exhibit 1 : Guidelines for the BCPC team decision-making exercise
1. Each individual will receive a separate hand out describing the role he or she will play in the Internet Strategy Team discussion. 2. To simulate a group decision-making process, you will draw from information or views held by your role to participate in the decision. The information on the sheet is meant as background to familiarize you with the views and experience of your character, to supplement the background information on BCPC contained in this case. 3. Please do not share your role sheet with other group members. You are, of course, free to provide information to the group that you have at your disposal, given the particular role you are playing. 4. You will be joining the rest of the strategy team to make a group decision. In preparation for
the team meeting, think carefully about what your recommendation might be. 5. Please make a name card, with the name and job title of your character. Source: Casewriters.
