CATHEDRAL SCHOOL FACULTY AND STAFF ON THE MOVE

WILLIAM REED, Controller William Reed joined Cathedral School for Boys as Controller in August 2021. With more than 25 years of accounting experience, he held assignments with UCSF and Dominican University, but spent the majority of the time working in the financial services industry with Wells Fargo Practice Finance. Mr. Reed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley. He is an active CPA and in his free time enjoys golfing, exercising, traveling, and spending time with his two daughters. TIMOTHY SEAMANS, Chaplain Father Timothy J.S. Seamans became Cathedral’s Chaplain in 2021. An Episcopal priest, Father Timothy has served as a chaplain, teacher, and coach at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Atlanta, the Episcopal High School boarding school in Alexandria, VA, and, most recently, the Episcopal School of Los Angeles in Hollywood. He co-authored the book Common Prayer for Children and Families, and he speaks nationally about the intersection of childhood, spirituality, and racial justice. Timothy received his religious education at Yale, Chicago Theological Seminary, and the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and is completing his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Virginia Theological Seminary. Apart from work, Father Timothy enjoys writing, eating, and laughing with his wife, Marissa, daughter Nico, and their old dog, Walter. ERIN STARNES, Health Administrator Erin Starnes joined Cathedral as the Health Administrator and School Nurse in the fall of 2020, helping the School with its response to the COVID-19 pandemic and managing its testing program. Prior to working at Cathedral, Nurse Starnes held roles as an ICU and Emergency Room Nurse at a variety of different hospitals around the Bay Area.

LEE STEWARD, Development Coordinator Our new Development Coordinator is Lee Steward. Lee’s previous work as a professional opera singer and music director gives him a passion for music and meeting people from around the world. After an intensive MBA at Pepperdine University and several years of nonprofit business consulting, he is excited to join the administrative team.

JENNIFER VICENTE, Lower School Science Jennifer Vicente joined Cathedral in the fall of 2021. She comes to us from Highlands Christian School, having worked there as a 2nd-grade teacher and middle school science and STEM teacher. She earned her BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UC Santa Cruz. For fun, Ms. Vicente spends time with her family (especially the baby), plays soccer, and finds new places to explore.
