HIGH FIVES! Easy
and willing to train. He truly understands the big picture of a company culture that revolves around sales and operations. He is helpful to his door shop team but also provides the CSR team with creative solutions to fit our customer needs. We may present him with what we think to be a solution, and he will ask questions to better understand the situation and customer. Many times, he has pointed us in a better direction to keep our customers happy and taken care of. Big thumbs up to Corey G. Wow From: Tyler Honn, Boise To: Amber Hall, Boise Shout out to Amber Hall! She has been helping us with Shea billing on a complicated situation. She has the best skill set to fix the problem and is willing to spend the time to help us out. The customer will just see a correct statement and not know the effort that the FBS team took to get to that point. That is how you Wow a customer. Thanks, Amber! Strive From: Mitchel Montgomery, Twin To: Jarod Stansell, Twin The labels of the siding product display were not looking great. Labels were folding over the product codes, which made them unreadable. Jared removed the old labels and replaced them with ones that wouldn’t fold. The display looks more professional now.
From: Eric Heiden, Burley To: Robert Rogers, Burley
Robert helped out at the front counter all day on Dec. 26. We were surprisingly busy that day (given the weather and the fact that we weren’t sure if anyone would really visit a lumber yard on the day after Christmas), and we needed to solve a lot of complicated problems for customers. Without Robert’s product knowledge and persistence, it could have been a customer service nightmare. Safe From: Cody Huft, James Bird, and Timothy Morrell, Jerome Transfer Yard To: Roman Herrin, Maintenance Shop/Mobile Mechanic Thank you for coming to fix our seatbelt for the forklift! It was a huge help getting both of our lifts working in proper order and back into the fight. Guide From: James Bermudez, Fruitland To: Corey Garcia, Fruitland I’m very happy to be working with Corey Garcia from the Fruitland Door shop. As a CSR new to the door world, he has been very supportive
BURLEY EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS A NEW LOOK FOR THE COMMUNITY
The Burley location recently completed a significant exterior facelift, enhancing its appeal and functionality. Franklin moved into the existing space around 1999 and has since undergone various changes, including a remodel of the design center. The original improvement plans were drafted in 2021 by the previous GM, Jeff Christoffersen, and approved for capital expenditure in 2024. Construction, which
began in April 2024, saw Snap Tight Products install foam panels with a stucco exterior. This method involves premade panels brought onsite and attached to the building, offering an efficient application process to the cinderblock structure and improving the building’s R-value. A new reader board showcasing Franklin’s famous witticisms was installed in December. Strategically situated along the town’s main drive, these upgrades increase foot traffic and significantly enhance the area’s visual appeal, creating a more inviting and vibrant environment. The back of the building is slated for a similar upgrade in 2025, with plans to use the same foam panel construction, given its importance as the main customer entrance. Burley is a growing community and Franklin brings a strong retail presence, especially with
no big box stores nearby. The sales team is dedicated to being the top retail destination, striving to offer a one-stop shop experience for Burley and surrounding communities. Future improvements include new commercial- grade LVP flooring for the 7,000-square-foot retail space, accompanied by an Orgill reset featuring new gondolas and facings. General Manager Casey Hazelbush had a lot of praise for his team’s dedication and hard work as they pivoted on schedules and responsibilities to ensure improvements to the customer experience. “Our entire team has worked seamlessly, even when short- handed,” Casey said. “Our new yard manager, Chris Conners, is a stud, and Kelly and Shane are setting a strong pace as everyone adjusts to evolving responsibilities.”
