ARMOUR ’87: Just a quick note to acknowledge that I now understand and appreciate the value of school uniforms and hair-length standards. GASP! As the parents of a middle schooler, we endure the wardrobe and coiffing dramas of our 12 year old on a daily basis. The gentle homogeneity of Cathedral removed a degree of competition and posturing from adolescence, which was (is) challenging enough. My wife, Jane Armour, (née Morton) went to Burke’s and has come full circle on this, too. If only Mr. Pearson could hear me now ….

Greetings, CSB! We have been living in Mill Valley since 2005 and selling residential real estate in the City and Marin for over 20 years now. My wife, Louise, and I moved back to San Francisco in 1999. Our oldest, Malkolm, is going to College of Marin and working at Tam Bikes. Our youngest, Oskar, is a senior at Tam and committed to play lacrosse at Colorado College. We still travel to Sweden every summer. We love living here, and it’s been a blessing to raise our family in one of the best places on Earth. We are committed to helping our communities move forward with committed leadership, accountability, and joy. As for being a CSB alum, one of my greatest memories and honors was being the captain of the Red Team when we won the cup at Field Day in 1984. Go

In March 2023, I gave up the practice of law when I was appointed to serve as a Commissioner of the Alameda County Superior Court. In March 2024, I had the distinct honor of being elected by the residents of Alameda County as a Superior Court Judge. I will leave my commissioner position to begin my service as a judge on January 6, 2025, unless I am appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom prior to January 2025.
