There are so many roads you can go down in this life; you can decide to try and change the world for the better, and if that's what you decide to do, go hard at it, and don't be a talker. Do the work; people like to do a lot of talking in today's world, and a lot of times, nothing comes out of the conversations; we talk, and that's it, then we wait for the problem to come back around, and then we talk again. Always be listening and be weary of talkers, some battles have been going on in this country for 100 plus years, and we are still talking. Look, boys, save your energy to try and think about real solutions and go beyond the talking. Be a doer. It is complex and complicated because society is stuck in its ways about many issues, so good luck. In closing, I want to thank all of you. This was an excellent 8th-grade class; I want to thank you for respecting my words, seeking my praise, making me laugh, and testing my patience. You all have made me proud at one time or another. Be smart, be positive, do you. And enjoy life.
