here since last fall and have absolutely loved it so far. Taiwan is a beautiful country with kind-hearted people, delicious food, and a rich culture. People here often tell me that I don't have the typical American accent, and some people even mistake me for a native Chinese speaker over the phone! I owe this in large part to beginning my Chinese learning experience at such a young age at CSB, and the two years in Ms. Lee's class in which she really emphasized pronunciation. I look forward to spending another year in Taiwan and seeing what else I can learn from this amazing island.” CLASS of 2014 Devon Karpf Devon was profiled in The Atlantic in March of 2022 in a piece titled “An Artist Who Makes Me Excited About the Future of Music.”

Princeton, and he began his freshman year there this fall. Andrew C. Lehman Andrew was named to the first-team All-State team in Virginia for boys lacrosse! Varun Z. Ramamurthi Mom Nancy writes, “Thanks to Varun's choir experience, he was inspired to continue to sing at Choate (now co-president of the Maiyeros acapella group and assistant conductor of the Choate Chamber Chorus) and we were just notified he won a National YoungArts award for classical voice. He was one of 38 classical vocalists selected nationally.” Nikolas Ruden Mom Mary reports that Nikolas is attending Grinnell College in the Fall and will be playing D3 baseball for the school.

Lukas Bacho Lukas had a short story published in 2021 Anthology and Catalogue: Select Works by 2021 YoungArts Honorable Mention and Merit Winners titled “The Hymnal 1982,” which features Chapel as a central plot piece! George P. Tilton-Low George was mentioned in a Chronicle article for helping out with authoring a Board of Supervisors resolution for SF to apologize to its Asian community.
