Why Finnegan Wool?
Humane & Sustainable
10
11
Wool’s qualities naturally align with Momentum’s values of beauty, durability, creative possibility and sustainable production. But not all wool is equal: Ours is sourced from sheep farmers in Australia and New Zealand who adhere to strict standards established by the World Organization for Animal Health. Its internationally recognized Five Freedoms for animals include freedom from malnutrition, fear, thermal discomfort, pain or injury and freedom to express normal animal behavior. These animals get to act like themselves and are treated well. Their well-being is evident in the superior quality of the wool they produce.
Responsible

• Free of harsh chemicals and heavy metals • Sourced from OEKO-TEX-certified suppliers • Greenguard Gold certified • Red-list Free, Prop-65 compliant • Woven at a mill that runs on renewable energy
• Water used during production is collected, filtered and recycled • Selvedges and off-quality goods are collected and recycled
Eco Friendly
14
15
Rapidly renewable and requiring less energy to manufacture than synthetic fibers, wool processing only generates organic waste. At the end of their lifecycle, wool fibers are 100% biodegradable and can be incinerated with no emission of pollutants.
Strong & Flexible
16
17
Wool fibers are curly and elastic, allowing the yarn to stretch when pulled, then return to its original form—making it able to withstand abrasion with grace and ease. It’s an inherently functional choice for commercial upholstery because it’s soft and flexible and resists tearing.
Comfortable
18
19
Beautiful and breathable: With its inherent wicking and insulating properties as well as range of textures and yarn styles, wool is versatile and timeless. Soft yet strong, this high-performance natural fiber is suitable for almost any climate in any setting, offering ease and comfort.
Easy
20
21
Wool is a low-maintenance solution for high-traffic settings. Its fibers contain lanolin, an oil that naturally repels water and stains. And its scaled surface structure generates minimal static electricity and makes it hard for dirt or contaminants to adhere to its surface.
Safe
22
23
Wool is naturally flame resistant, requiring less chemistry to meet stringent fire standards. It is also resistant to dust mites, mold and bacteria making it the perfect textile for spaces that require clean, comfortable, resilliant textiles.
Long Lasting
24
25
Bounce back: Wool has a natural elasticity, allowing it to recover quickly from compression and avoid creasing. It’s inherently durable and breathable, preventing moisture from building up and allowing it to maintain its look and feel even in high-traffic settings.

Chekhov Finnegan Wool Collection
Sometimes the simplest concepts are the hardest to execute: Our team spent more than three years researching and building the ideal components for Chekhov, a classic wool check. With a cutting-edge color palette, its natural wool weave is constructed to upholster beautifully on modernist curved furniture pieces, maintain crisp corners, smoothly adapt to any style seam, and keep its shape. We also, through responsible sourcing, ensured an accessible price point. Chekhov—designed to beautifully complement the rest of the Finnegan collection—was clearly worth the wait.
Shire Finnegan Wool Collection A wool boucle with a complex weave, Shire’s open and airy appearance belies its incredible strength and durability. Available in a wide assortment of 15 heathered bold and neutral colors, its latticework of enmeshed boucle sits on a grounded background— together these layers create depth and beauty, contributing to a natural, easy luxury in any high-traffic setting.
