Servant Who came “to seek and to save that which was lost.” Hebrews 12:2 tells us that even now the Lord Jesus has a wonderful place accorded to Him. But this is nothing compared with what He is going to have in the coming day of His unveiling, when He returns to this earth to rule and to reign. Why is all this accorded to Him ? Because He poured out His very life’s blood, to redeem fallen mankind. He gave His life up entirely and will ingly. He was numbered with the transgressors, one criminal on one side of Him, and another on the other. So the spotless Lamb of God in the middle bore the sins of mankind. Do not overlook the last part of this verse which tells us in the original that the Messiah Christ is still carrying on the priestly, intercessory prayer min istry for us at the righthand of God where He has been over 1900 years.

Q . San Diego, California. “1 have often wondered why some churches use the word ‘trespasses,’ while others say ‘debts’ in quoting the Lord’s prayer. Why is this?” A. Strictly speaking, this should be titled as the prayer which the Lord gave to His disciples. The real Lord’s prayer is recorded in John 17. But as to this question, Matthew 6:12 reads, “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” Other versions use the words “trespasses” and “trespass.” Debt would be the older word trans lated in 1620. Trespasses would prob ably convey more of the Greek. It is really a matter of choice. The basic thought is not a monetary obligation but sin. “Forgive us our sins because we should forgive those who sin against us,” would be even more ap propriate.

Water is precious not only lor conservation, but also because of high costs. A small natural stream runs through the lower part of Biota's 75 acre Campus. Several dams have been constructed which provide a source of water tor Irrigation of athletic fields. Handy maintenance men, directed by Super visor William Bennett, have taken war surplus equipment such as jeeps, pumping motors, and a large water tank truck, to irrigate other facilities on the Campus. It is prayerfully anticipated that as funds become available, or through a memorial gift some friend of the school might choose to make, a large reflection lake could be constructed. Around this outdoor seats would be built so that special services and inspirational meetings could be held.
