his own hands. This God could not receive. What does Abel say today, even though he is dead? “A person can’t get to God except by sacrifice.” Cain knew as much about the love of God as Abel did. It is again interest ing that when Adam and Eve sinned, the first thing they did was to' go out and look for something prepared by their own hands in order to cover themselves. This never works. God must provide the only suitable sacri fice. Q . Santa Rosa, California — “A minister declares that we sin in thought, word and deed everyday. In I John 3:9, however, we read, 'Whosoever is bom of God doth not commit sin.’ Who is right?” A. Both are correct. We must confess to our own shame that we do sin everyday. Verse eight in the first chapter of this same epistle testifies to this fact. Since Adam’s time all men have had a sin nature. If any person says he doesn’t he is only fool ing himself. The tenth verse shows that we not only have a sin nature, but also that there is the accompany-

Look also at Hebrews 11:4, “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excel lent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was right eous. God testifying of his g ifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.” Faith comes by hearing some previous revelation of God. Abel had listened to what his mother and father had told their sons about the proper ap proach to God. This is why he brought a blood sacrifice. But Cain wouldn’t do it. While our cameras art not equipped to lake photographs extending for extra wide angles, this is a portion of the 1965-1966 student body which assembled on the steps of tho Education Building for a recant picture. Registration for all of the Biola schools is at a record loyal again this year. Mot in the picture, of course, are the students from the Arizona Biblo College in Phoenix. Biola College requires every student to take 30 units of Biblo in order to graduate. This means that he will receive two to three times more instruction in the Word of God than young people attending other Christian colleges.
