MELITA ISLAND ON FLATHEAD LAKE
On the pristine waters of Flathead Lake lies an island gem called Melita. Consider this your own private Scouting island. Melita is paradise reserved just for Scouts to have the adventure of a lifetime. Programs at Melita Island are heavily water-based and are ideal for seasoned Scouts and Venturers looking for something different than the traditional summer camp. We also have land-based activities for those who prefer to stay dry. Island life inspires adventure through unique oppor- tunities like sailing, paddle sports, nature, hiking Wild Horse Island and emergency preparation programs, to name a few. Melita hosts programs for adult leaders too and the Advanced Camper Experience (A.C.E.) program designed to challenge older Scouts. Continual upgrades to our infrastructure and facilities make us Scouts BSA ready and places comfort and safety at the forefront of our camp.
