Duration : 1 year, full-time
Entry requirements: At least a 2:1 (or international equivalent) achieved. A background in Finance, Economics and Econometrics would be advantageous. We also welcome applications from those with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, and Engineering, candidates from these background may be made an offer of an online supplementary course. If English is not your first language, please note that you must meet a minimum overall standard in a recognised test of English. Why MSc Finance? The financial sector is one that is always evolving, and our MSc Finance is designed to give you a fundamental understanding of finance in today’s world. This course will give you a deep theoretical and conceptual knowledge of finance and quantitative skills, preparing you for a range of careers in the financial industry. As the anticipation of jobs being challenged by Artificial Intelligence becomes a reality, we aim to share the skills and depth of understanding needed to design, develop, and supervise these new forms of financial intelligence. Assessment and modules Over three terms you will complete seven core modules, and three optional modules of your choice. Assessment of these modules consists of a mixture of project work and examinations. Your studies will be completed by a Dissertation or self-sourced Internship.
