Trilogy Metals releases first Ambler region drill results

Trilogy Metals Inc., a partner is the Ambler Mining District exploration now under way, announced the first set of drilling results from the 2022 summer field season at the Upper Ko - buk Mineral Projects in northwestern Alaska. The UKMP includes the Arctic de- posit, the Bornite deposit ("Bornite"), and prospective mining claims in the surrounding area. The drill program was complet- ed by Ambler Metals LLC ("Ambler Metals"), the joint venture operating company equally owned by Trilogy and South32 Limited. The results re - leased were from the first seven drill tests in the 2022 program. Additional results will be announced in the next few weeks, Trilogy said. There were multiple Intercepts of High-Grade Copper, Zinc and Silver

Mineralization found in the program including 9.63 Meters with a Copper Equivalent Grade of 6.78 percent and 5.55 Meters with a Copper Equivalent Grade of 7.81 percent. The 2022 field program included 10,738 meters of diamond drilling, of which 8,376 meters was drilled at Arctic, the most ever drilled at Arc- tic in a single field season, with the remainder drilled on regional targets in the Ambler region and near Bor - nite. The 2022 field program put a priority on advancing Arctic with ad- ditional infill drilling to improve the confidence in the resource and for ge - otechnical studies to further de-risk the project, Trilogy said. Exploration outside of the Arctic deposit focused on discovering cop- per-rich satellite deposits near Arc- tic, and in the Cosmos Hills, which is

in the region. As part of the regional program, two targets in the Ambler Belt and East Dead Creek, and two targets near Bornite were drill-tested, with the assays pending). In addition, an area covering more than 50 square kilometers was mapped and pros- pected, and over 3,900 soil samples were collected. In a related development, Trilogy provided an update on the proposed 211-mile, industrial-use-only road from the Upper Kobuk Mineral Proj- ects to the Dalton Highway that will advance the exploration and develop- ment at the Ambler Mining District that are home to some of the world's richest known copper-dominant polymetallic deposits.
