SpotlightNovember2020

spotlight on november N ow that we are midway into the last quarter of 2020, we have the U.S. election behind us and put our focus on getting ready to take 2021 head on as some businesses and industries are still trying to survive while others thrive in these new business norms. We continue to see more government restrictions added in some areas while lifting them in others as we continue to battle the second wave of the pandemic. We are also making changes, as more and more of us are now looking for ways to get out of the house and explore their own regions when we would usually be making travel plans beyond our borders. If you are one of those readers, then our conversation with Napier Outdoors is a must read for you. We had the opportunity to chat with Jamie McAvoy, Marketing, Sales and Office Manager for Napier Outdoors about the companies latest products to get you out and enjoying the great outdoors as the company celebrates an amazing milestone of 30 years of endless adventures, epic campsites and shared memories. Are you a whiskey connoisseur? If you are then you are going to want to head straight for Mingo Creek Craft Distillers in Washington, Pennsylvania for an unforgettable, authentic whiskey tasting experience. You might even get a history lesson on “The Whiskey Rebellion” from owner Jim Hough who left his career in computer science and finance to make the leap into entrepreneurship and the whiskey business. Our management team recently had a staycation and they were so impressed with their charming Hotel and Conference Centre that they knew they needed to sit down with Heidi Sponagle, Director of Sales and Celeste Baxter, General Manager to find out more about the transformation and inspiration behind the newly branded Inn on Prince Hotel and Conference Centre situated in the hub of Nova Scotia where all the major highways meet. If you know Aundrea Trevors, then you know her dedication for non-surgical medical aesthetics. Her passion for this new field of medicine is driven from seeing her clients, both men and women, achieve their self-confidence. We had the opportunity to chat up with Aundrea, which is not easy to do, and put this energetic entrepreneur “in the spotlight” to learn more about this amazing person behind Aundrea Nurse Inc. Wewant to thank all those involved in putting this issue together, as we know there are still difficult roads ahead for small and medium sized businesses. These are extremely demanding times for businesses, but we promise to keep sharing business success and the people behind making it all happen.
