CRAFT RADLERS, SOURS & TROPICAL BEERS C raft Radlers, Sours and Tropical beers are also very drinkable like summer beers. A traditional radler combines equal parts light-colored, hoppy beer and citrus favors (grapefruit, lemon, lime etc), but nowadays you can add just about anything. However, in saying that, the flavor should still be a crisp combination of sweet and tart, with a touch of bitterness for balance. Sour beer on the other hand has an intentionally acidic, tart, or sour taste. Some people like them, and others do not, but these were our favorites.
