We were engaged to deliver a sensitive yet contemporary residential development near the listed Wapping Wharf, creating 13 high-quality serviced apartments designed to provide a home-away-from-home experience in the heart of Bristol. With a focus on functionality and comfort, the scheme caters to both professionals requiring short-term accommodation and tourists seeking a city break. The development is arranged over six floors, with a basement level incorporating car parking, storage, and a management office. The scheme also includes dedicated cycle parking, accessible parking, and refuse/ recycling storage at ground level. We took a context-led approach to the design, ensuring that the new development complements the surrounding streetscape and historic character of the area. The architecture responds to the scale and materiality of its setting while delivering a modern and efficient living environment.
