T.I.S.CO. To Acquire Alltek, Inc. Haltom City, Texas based Thacker Industrial Service Company
a legacy of customer service... 800-242-2270 Reliable, Professional, Dedicated (T.I.S.CO.), a machinery manufacturer and provider of support services to the corrugated industry for more than 30 years, announced that it will acquire Leland, North Carolina based Alltek, Inc., a company that has been an industrial contractor since 1985. The acquisition will be effective November 1. “We look forward to welcoming the Alltek family and their long- standing traditions to the T.I.S.CO. family and growing the Alltek name along with the T.I.S.CO. and Harper brands,” said Roy Thacker, founder and owner of T.I.S.CO. Alltek, inc. was founded by Peter and Thomas Brennan, and for four generations, the company has provided the corrugated industry with the spectrum of electrical, piping and millwright and rigging services. From machinery installations and relocations to entire plant moves and shutdowns, Alltek has done it all. Alltek employees will become employees of T.I.S.CO., which plans on keeping and upgrading Alltek’s equipment and moving it down to T.I.S.CO.’s facility near Fort Worth, Texas. “We would add some new heavier lifts to their forklift ranks and replenish any tools and equipment to ramp up their strength on the job site,” added Thacker. “We plan on growing Alltek back to the rigging powerhouse it once was for the corrugated industry.”
