Diary of an HR Manager
Wednesday 7:00 p.m. Some HR people like the legal and policy side, others like listening to people’s problems, and some really enjoy the admin. I like solving problems. And I like using HR tech to do it. Having said which, I couldn’t write a line of code to save my life, until now, when I could vibe code if it excited me that much!
So, I’m not really a geek, but much more involved in how tech could help HR get the work done, and much more. To help me in my work, I’d taken on an AI-driven digital assistant which stored all my HR tech product information, as well as key information such as employment law, and particularly legislation relating to AI. This DA could compare products quickly and fire out pieces of stored data in a conversational way.
To be clear, I’d never ask AI to write anything for me, but it’s useful to have tl;dr summaries when I’m pressed for time.
