It takes a lot to make a ’55 Dodge Suburban station wagon look this good—like the setback Chrysler grille ends. Don Kreider from Rheems, PA, built the wagon using a Dodge 360/904 overdrive pow- ertrain, a Mustang II IFS, and won the “Event Director Pick” from Will Siebel.
NSRA always invites local police out to the events and Officer Joseph Morin of the Johnson City Police Department picked Alan Batson’s sweet blue ’65 International Scout 80 that came up from Atlantic Beach, FL, for their “Thin Blue Line” pick.
One of the nicest built cars in Johnson City was Mike Merlo’s “Rep/Safety Pick” win- ning ’57 Chevrolet Nomad that has a Roadster Shop chassis, a LS3/Tremec pow- ertrain, PPG paint, and came in from Boca Raton, FL.
