NSRA loves working with other organiza- tions and its relationship with the ISCA goes back to the ‘70s. At this year’s Nationals South they loved Jim & Helen Payne’s ’39 Chevy coupe that rolls on FatMan suspension, runs LS3 power with a 4L60E, and spins 17/18-inch Billet Specialties wheels for an “ISCA Pick.”

If you ever see Dan Timmons’ ’32 Ford coupe out of Mooresville, NC, check out everything Dan custom machined (which is about every piece) including the spreader bar, the hairpins, the hidden powerplant (SBC), the steering wheel, and he picked up a “Rep/Safety Pick.”

Sam & Patti Hollingsworth out of Roanoke, VA, won a “Rep/Safety Pick” for all the rock chips on their ’36 Studebaker four-door that has a Mustang II IFS, Chevy 350 power with a Turbo 400, and a frenched and smoothed body cov- ered in PPG 1980 Chrysler Burnt Orange paint.
