WNHGO: Women’s Nine Hole Golf Organization
The WDCGA “District” July Cups were hosted by Army Navy Country Club at the Fairfax Course. With 4 individual tournaments and 83 ladies competing from Clubs throughout the area, it was a very busy day. Many thanks to our Pros, Staff and Volunteers who all worked very hard to make it a huge success! Congratulations to the following Army Navy members who finished “in the money”: A Cup - Judi Enright (Cup winner), Shelley Savage B Cup - Didi Summers, Lisa Moore C Cup - Andi Carpenter (Cup winner), Linda Nguyen, Becky The Verrell two-lady Tournament was held at Belle Haven Country Club with approximately 50 teams competing. Congratulations are in order to the following Army Navy prize winning teams: Judi Enright and Shelley Savage, Andi Carpenter and partner, Marie Anderson and Mary Blair, Tina Gwilliam and partner, Pam Quinn and Susan Walthall, Danielle Hetzler and Jaehwa Kim. The WNHGO Memorial Cup was held on 11 & 18 July and in Fairfax. Congratulations to this year’s winners: Becky Fulgham (1 st place); Shannon Bibb (1 st place gross); Rita Kuntz (2 nd place); Penny Wood (3 rd place); and Diane Freeman, Shanon Hardy, and Susan McAdoo (T-4 th place). Upcoming Events : 2 August – CWGO, WGO-18 & WNHGO Nine, Wine & Dine Scramble (ARL), 5:30 pm Shotgun Start 22 August – Flag Day (FFX), Tee times and Luncheon.
