Every Thursday Evening May 16-Aug. 29: San Rafael Summer Farmers Market Every Thursday evening, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. this summer the farmers market in San Rafael, presented by the Agriculture Institute of Marin (AIM), offers patrons a picture of the local community. Stroll and take your pick of farm-fresh produce, honey, wine, baked goods, flowers, cured meats and so much more. There is also a variety of cuisines to sample from—taste the flavors of Yucatan, Salvadorian, Spanish, Mexican, etc. Along with the perishables, local artisans are also present with handcrafted products. The market takes place in Downtown San Rafael on Fourth Street, between A and Lootens streets. For more information visit agriculturalinstitute.org.

June 22: Purple Haze: Tribute to Jimi Hendrix at Sweetwater Music Hall Purple Haze offers a tribute to the electrifying music of Jimi Hendrix. On June 22, the band promises to take fans back to the psychedelic rock era and bring the spirit of Hendrix back to life. With Ralph Woodson on guitar and lead vocals, Pete Roberts on bass and Leo Vigil on drums patrons are in for a rockin’ good time. General admission is $26 in advance and $32 on the day of the show. Sweetwater is at 19 Corte Madera Ave. In Mill Valley. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets can be purchased on sweetwatermusichall.com.

June 26: Napa Pride: Club 87 Show off your fly dance moves and get grooving with Napa Pride’s Club 87 at Blue Note Napa, 1030 Main St. DJ Rotten Robbie will be transporting attendees to the totally tubular ‘80s! On June 26 guests will have the chance to strut the runway and possibly win a prize. General admission and ADA tickets are $10—seating is first come, first served. All net proceeds will go to benefitting the LGBTQ Connection Napa. This night of drag and dancing is sure to be a gnarly time, don’t be a dweeb and make sure to show up in some nostalgic ‘80s attire! And don’t forget to bring your tipping money, doors open at 6 p.m. The event is for ages 16-plus, tickets can be purchased on bluenotejazz.com and are emailed 48 hours prior to showtime via ticketweb .

June 21: Matt Jaffe, Concerts on the Green in Novato The lineup is set for the 2024 Concerts on the Green presented by the City of Novato Parks & Recreation Department. On June 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. attendees can hear the original indie rock sound of music artist Matt Jaffe—free admission. Located at the Novato City Green, 901 Sherman Ave., guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs. Outside food and drink are permitted, dogs are not. June 21: Trivia Night: Yountville Pride Week Cornerstone Cellars, 6505 Washington St., presents team trivia in honor of Yountville’s Pride Week. Matthew Elroy of Trivia by Thew will be co- hosting. Wines will be available for purchase and the trivia begins at 5:30 p.m. Participation is free, but spaces are limited. Email concierge@ cornerstonecellars.com for tickets and questions.

June 29: Summer Solstice Party Clos du Val will be ringing in the summer season with a solstice party at 5330 Silverado Trail, Napa. From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. patrons will mingle in their finest whites—required—and celebrate the latest release of Clos du Val’s 2023 Sauvignon Blanc. There will also be an oyster bar, live music, fresh new wines and gourmet bites. Tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased on closduval.com .
