June 24: Museum Mondays for Little Ones: Summer Solstice Looking for a fun activity to do with your little ones this summer? On the last Monday of every month at the Charles Schulz Museum, 2301 Hardies Lane in Santa Rosa, your kiddos can partake in some outdoor sensory play. To celebrate the solstice, from 10 a.m. to noon, kids can bead a water cycle bracelet, mix and knead cloud dough as well as make music. Tickets are $10 per child and free for up to two adults per child before 11 a.m.—regular museum admission applies thereafter. Curated for children between the ages of 1 to 5. For more information visit schulzmuseum.org . The festival runs from 5-10 p.m. for all three days. Ticket prices start at $100 and can be purchased at cosmi.co/tickets.

July 13: Festival Napa Valley’s Taste of Napa Over 70 wineries, breweries, restaurants and culinary artisans will participate in the Taste of Napa on July 13. Hosted by Festival Napa Valley and located at The Meritage Resort and Spa, 850 Bordeaux Way. Only guests over the age of 21 are allowed to purchase tickets for $150 per person or $295 for access to the Reserve Tasting Salon. Attendees will sample from a variety of local vendors from noon to 3 p.m. The libations and tasty treats will also be accompanied by live music. Tickets are available for purchase on festivalnapavalley.org .

July 4: 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular Bring the whole family to this fireworks spectacle at the Green Music Center at Sonoma State, 1801 E. Cotati Ave., in celebration of July 4. This event, from 7:30 to 10 p.m., features Sonoma County’s own Transcendence Theatre Company and Santa Rosa Symphony in an evening of show tunes and patriotic classics. Tickets start at $45 and can be purchased on gmc.sonoma.edu . Lawn tickets for children 12 and under are half price. There will also be a special Kids Zone from 4:30 to 7 p.m. where your little ones can check out an array of carnival games, bounce houses, music and more!

July 19-21: Gay Wine Weekend Every year Out In The Vineyard puts on a variety of events to commemorate Gay Wine Weekend! From July 19 to 21, attendees will take part in winemaker dinners, wine tours and show off their moves at the Twilight T-Dance at La Crema Winery, 3575 Slusser Road. Other events that patrons can look forward to are the Drag Queen Brunch & Wine Auction, many after parties and a closing pool soiree. June 15-23: Healdsburg Jazz Festival

June 30: Community Tour at Charlie’s Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary

Marking the 26th anniversary of the Healdsburg Jazz Festival, this year’s artists are set to get attendees in the groove. Attendees can enjoy music of several artists for free or can pay to see headliners like Samara Joy on June 16 and Joshua Redman on June 23. The program has a diverse lineup set to honor the rich culture of jazz. There are several venues for this festival, for more information and ticket prices visit healdsburgjazz.org .

Looking for a fun summer activity to do with the whole family? Check out the Community Tours at Charlie’s Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary, 3201 Napa Road, private tour options are also available when you visit the website charliesacres.org . The tour duration is 1.5 hours—tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
