Anchor Environmental Sustainability & Net Zero Carbon Strategy 2023 – 2026

Business operations Objectives • Educate and inspire colleagues to make sustainable decisions in their lives, the impact on residents and their key role in championing sustainable change. • Ensuring current and future colleagues have the skills and knowledge needed in environmental sustainability • Support colleagues’ wellbeing through improved working environments, reduced travel, access to and connection with nature. Our colleagues’ engagement with the importance of environmental sustainability and our pathways to net zero will be central to their success or failure. communications programmes in relation to environmental sustainability will form part of the implementation plans for this strategy, engaging colleagues in personal responsibility both through their roles and teams, and through learning and development programmes and staff forums. This will involve measuring the baseline of skills and awareness levels, then setting recruitment requirements as well as seeking to grow our own specialists.
