Family-owned plumbing and heating merchant Beggs and Partners officially opened its new store at The Junction, Antrim on June 12. Customers, contractors, installers, merchants and industry professionals were welcomed to the new branch from 9am to 3pm for a day packed with product demonstrations, supplier showcases, competitions, prizes and exclusive promotions. Some of the biggest names in plumbing, heating and bathrooms were brought along to offer visitors the opportunity to meet experts, discover the latest products and get hands-on advice from leading manufacturers, including Bristan, Warmflow, Grant, Wirquin, Rothenberger, Gledhill, Wavin, Instantor, Scalemaster, Flair, Hansgrohe and Geberit. Trade customers entered a prize draw to win Warmflow and Grant boilers and a Gledhill water cylinder, as well as participating in a KickIT Challenge to win prizes such as a luxury shower, gift vouchers, Formula 1 Lego set, bottles of fizz, branded goodies and exclusive
supplier merchandise. Breakfast show hosts Pete Snodden and Rebecca McKinney were in attendance from 11am to 1pm, concluding a week of activity on the Cool FM Breakfast Show where one lucky listener won a £2,000 voucher to spend on the Instinct Bathroom Collection. They also ran a Spin the Wheel Prize Giveaway with concert tickets, goodies and more won by attendees on the day. Antrim Branch Manager Zak Dawson is aiming to quickly establish a strong presence for the new location as a visible and trusted name in the area. The new location features a trade counter and bathroom showroom and expands Beggs and Partners’ branch network to 16.
