RN to BSN Program Sumner’s RN to BSN Program is designed to allow students with an Associate Degree in Nursing to continue working in the field while enrolled in the program. For the nurses who are ready to advance in their career, this is the program for you. The 13-month program will broaden your understand of best practices in nursing and prepare you for leadership positions in which increasing levels of education are expected.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Sumner College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing is the only program in Oregon and Washington that doesn’t require prerequisite coursework. This program can be completed in less than 3 years, allowing you to enter the workforce sooner. Practical Nursing Program The Practical Nursing Program at Sumner College can fast- track you to success as an LPN in just 13 months. The BLS states that the employment for Licensed Practical Nurses is projected to grow 11% by 2028 and the approximate starting hourly rate of $35/hour.

How do I apply for the NCLEX?
Apply with OSBN or WABON and pay required fee.
Submit requirements to complete a background check.
Register with Pearson Vue and pay required fee.
Candidate receives authorization to test (ATT) from Pearson Vue and schedules exam date.
Sumner confirms to OSBN or WABON that grad requirements are met via transcripts.
OSBN or WABON informs Pearson Vue that graduate may test.

Clocking in and out for Attendance
Attendance is collected through clocking in at the beginning of the class and out at the end of class. Students should receive a link that will be sent to their cell phone prior to the class start time. Follow the link to clock in/out. From there you will be able to click the “Clock in/out tab” See above image
Reminder that Asynchronous classes will not require clock in, but rather logging in during the established time period
