Another new sire we used AI that we tried to purchase a couple of years ago but fell short to ABS Global. Eastwood 5037 come to us with a masculine profile with a big hip and rib and has a solid base to him. When we look at this guy and on paper, he is balanced well across the board until we get to the carcass side of things and he excels in most of those traits. Like it or not, our industry is demanding bigger carcasses that will also grade well and this is the guy that will move a program forward without sacrificing maternal or performance strength.
