Greetings friend, Welcome to The Friendship Circle of Washington’s 2026 Community Inclusion Calendar. This year we are shaking things up with a brand new Monthly Kindness and Inclusion Community Challenge, inviting everyone to take part in simple, meaningful actions that strengthen connection, compassion, and belonging throughout our community. This calendar is thoughtfully designed to seamlessly integrate both Jewish and secular dates, making it a valuable resource for our diverse community. Since 2004, The Friendship Circle has been dedicated to creating a world where everyone belongs. Through innovative programs, we pair teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities with peer buddies, building meaningful relationships and fostering essential life skills. Together, we are shaping a more inclusive and compassionate future. We are especially proud of the incredible growth in our Teen and Young Adult Life Skills and Social Engagement programs, which continue to empower participants with the tools they need to thrive socially and independently.
