Rihanata Bigey

rihanatabigey

Rihanata Bigey is a London-based multidisciplinary artist. Bigey draws on African heritage and personal narrative to explore cross-cultural identity, belonging and memory. Her practice examines the representation of Black women and the cultural and spiritual resonance of masquerade traditions, reimagined through a contemporary feminine lens to challenge overlooked layers of collective memory and imagination. Communion explores the intersection of body, nature, and spiritual energies. The woven and layered costume references the leaf masquerades of Burkina Faso, traditions in which the body becomes more than itself, channelling forces, giving tribute, and creating communion with the invisible. In this work, Rihanata Bigey uses the body in movement to shape unseen energies of nature, transforming the costume into both vessel and bridge between worlds.

ronnbt Ronn Beattie

horsley.robert Robert Horsley

Ronn Beattie is a ceramic sculptor based in Cornwall. Working with clay, glass and natural materials, Beattie creates sculptures rooted in nature, often shown in open landscapes and reserves. Using wood firing, saggar firing and self-made glazes, Beattie’s practice reflects a deep respect for ecological processes and explores the dialogue between material, place and environment. The Last Brazilian Rain Forest Tree is a sculpture that addresses the destruction of nature through the very materials it employs. Porcelain clay, wood, glass, and rope are combined with a pair of cow horns to underscore the loss of the rainforest to cattle farming.

Roberta De Caro

Robert Horsley is a mixed-media visual artist whose practice centres on layered abstract 3D compositions made with electrical tape and coloured stickers. Drawing on a tactile and intuitive approach, Horsley explores the interplay of repetition, colour and form, where chance meets precision. Busy Doing Nothing #1 explores colour, form, and chance through meditative hands by cutting and placing coloured stickers to create an abstract composition.

Over-Exposed is a multimedia installation exploring overwhelm through movement, material and chance. On the wall, handmade foam cogs echo the digital content, translating image into sculptural form. The analogue texture of the film merges with digital display, linking nostalgia with contemporary saturation.
