sanarao Sana Rao

missoffwhite Sancia Zheng

sandernevejans Sander Nevejans

Sana Rao is a London-based multidisciplinary artist, designer and poet. Her current practice explores the technological potential of natural materials and elements to reconnect with the self and the natural world. Responding to personal and ecological dis-ease caused by colonial systems of extraction, her work embodies care, repair and reverence. Using fluid, unpredictable media such as Indian inks and natural dye pigments, she allows natural forces like gravity and ambient temperature to shape each piece beyond the limits of intention. The Endeavour examines entanglements between technological development, colonial expansion and fragile ecologies. This work explores how eucalyptus has been defined as an invasive species, highlighting its complex relationship with avocado plants and the monarch butterfly. Eschewing categorisation, the work seeks to decentre human narratives and centre ecological narratives with care and devotion.

Sancia Zheng explores identity, systems and reinvention shaped by two decades in corporate life. Her layered abstractions reflect burnout, resilience and quiet rebellion, inviting viewers to reconnect with their inner selves and embrace transformation through art. Her global experience across Singapore, Shanghai, Germany and Taiwan informs a culturally fluid perspective. She has grown an armour that serves well. An armour never taken off. Like her skin. She couldn’t tell. It hurts when you hug her, So, she couldn’t hug back. And she remained for a long time… not knowing if it hurts from the outside or the inside. All this time, she had her eyes on the edges, pointing at her. Yes… Turning in is a new perspective.

Sandra Madelane

Sander Nevejans is a Belgian artist and designer trained in engineering and interior design. With a background in blacksmithing and materials, he now creates collectible pieces through his studio Sane. Using byssus and metal, his work explores balance, sensory experience and the impact of design on mental and physical well-being. Sono marks Sander Nevejans’s first exploration of acoustic artworks made from byssus. Nevejans reimagines byssus fibres from Scottish mussels as Seawool, preserving their visual and tactile qualities while reviving fragments of ancient craft. Sono, rare consists entirely of byssus fibres on wood, made without synthetic binders, with a metal line from Byssus Technology marking continuity across past, present and future.

Sandra Madelane is a London-based fine art photographer whose work is deeply inspired by nature. She works with organic materials such as flowers, stones, leaves and branches, drawn by their unpredictable qualities and inherent imperfections. These natural elements ground her practice, reflecting themes of fragility, beauty and transformation that are central to her art. To Metamorphose is a meditation on grief and the quiet transformations it leaves behind: what lingers and what slowly returns.
