Siavash (Abbas) Sufinejad is a visual artist and designer with a background in architecture. His practice integrates traditional Middle Eastern art with contemporary design, often employing organic materials such as wood, stone, and metal. Known for minimalism and elegance, his works emphasise craftsmanship, functionality, and timeless aesthetics. Time revisits one of humanity’s oldest questions: where the line between good and evil lies. Pixelated portraits, echoing digital imagery and Time Magazine’s aesthetics, place leaders, revolutionaries, scientists and entertainers within a shared symbolic frame. Figures of hope and creativity appear beside those of power and destruction, blurring distinctions between hero and villain. Time becomes both mirror and question, asking whether modern myths are created or cycles repeat.

Simon Wilson is an artist and taxidermist with over 40 years of experience, working across film, fashion, photography, and collaborations with other artists. Notable projects include the floating giraffe installed at Aynhoe Park, Oxfordshire, and feather garments for Alexander McQueen, including the Bird of Paradise dress. Hippocampus Reborn ‘Myth in Stillness’ presents a hybrid of seahorse and land mammal, reimagining myth through the lens of mortality. Drawing on taxidermy’s historical links to preservation and spectacle, the piece reflects themes of maternal instinct, evolution and imagined futures. Suspended in mid-embrace, the figures question what endures when nature converges with human imagination.

Siya A is a multidisciplinary photographer. Collaborating frequently with musicians and influencers, A explores the diversity of human individuality. In an era saturated with self-media, what might appear as freedom, decentralisation and diversity often becomes a spectacle of constant self-packaging. OPEN bāzār reflects a form of self-mockery within such conditions, where standing out requires the pursuit of difference. Combining live-action footage with AI-based post- production, the piece generates landscapes of distinctive imagery, capturing the tension between authenticity and artifice in contemporary visual culture.

Siu Ping (Evan) Wu’s practice explores contemporary experiences and alternative subject matter, reflecting on people and events in everyday life. Life Is but a Dream reflects the Buddhist concept of impermanence, emphasising that all things remain in constant change and that fragility and brevity of life are inevitable. The work evokes release from attachment to reduce suffering. At its centre, a butterfly rests as a lifeless shell within a specimen box, yet appears to yearn for the mundane world, desiring to fly into the painting with bittersweet romance.
