xtilzey Xanthe Tilzey
Wiktoria Hebda is an interdisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, and photography, with a focus on portraiture and self-portraiture. The practice explores the unconscious mind, memory, dream states, and human psyche through deeply personal philosophical and psychological narratives. Hebda often features as the subject, creating autobiographical works that document identity, mental states, and bodily perception. Symbolism and material fragility play central roles, reflecting human vulnerability. Untitled combines painting and sound as a single experience. Born from cold nights of introspection in October 2023, this self‑portrait mirrors a state of inner drowning and gradual release. Negative energy and hatred are transformed into a process of healing and growth. An accompanying audio track loops recorded sounds from the bathtub, immersing viewers in a sensory journey through breath, water and memory.
Xanthe Tilzey is a painter based in Cockermouth, Cumbria, whose evocative and dreamlike works explore memory, desire and transformation. Drawing on gothic and theatrical imagery, her paintings feature draped fabric, historical costume, fragmented bodies and vivid dreamscapes. Through layered washes and dense applications of colour, Tilzey produces shifting, luminous surfaces that oscillate between intimacy and unease, revealing both allure and ambiguity. Sanguine Spine explores the tension between softness and threat, desire and danger. A twisting spine of thorns pierces a misty blue background, its vivid red forms both enticing and defensive. Vibrant colours and tactile textures seduce the viewer while resisting touch, evoking the urge to grasp what wounds. The elongated canvas and orifice- like punctures suggest transformation, where desire dissolves into threat and the beautiful becomes unsettling.

Wayne Clough is a British painter. His paintings are held in both private and public collections, including the Priseman Seabrook Collection, soon to join Bloomberg Connects. In 2023, one of his paintings was sold at Christie’s in support of the charity Arms Around the Child. Purification explores how hand gestures serve as subtle yet vital forms of self-expression and communication. Through visual metaphor, the drawings open broader political questions while investigating themes of ageing, disability, ritual and intimacy. Each gesture becomes a site of embodied meaning and quiet resistance.
Xavier Adriaenssens is a London-based artist whose creative roots span West Africa and the American Midwest, shaped by the energy of Hip Hop and Street Art. Adriaenssens’s artistic journey began in the early 2000s Chicago, particularly in the Wicker Park neighbourhood. Adriaenssens’s practice reflects contemporary social and economic tension, combining tones of weariness and quiet acceptance with provocative use of colour.
Under the Sun reflects on escaping the chaos under the sun.
