Ziqi Chen employs juxtaposition to explore the convergence of organic forms and digital constructs. Chen’s practice investigates how materials and symbolic systems, such as biological textures and pixelated structures, can coexist on a single surface, reflecting a wider inquiry into modes of perception within a visually saturated environment. And Yet juxtaposes natural forms such as plants, animals, and fragments of the human body with the oversaturated visual language of digital systems. The composition generates an unstable field of imagery that echoes the struggle to reconstruct meaning, embodiment, and perception in the post-digital age. The coexistence of organic and artificial elements becomes a metaphor for an unstable yet authentic mode of being within a world saturated by information.
