Board of Directors Call for Nomination Join our SCS board of directors We are a person-centered organization serving the needs of children and adults with developmental disabilities Service Coordination Support (SCS) is the initial contact for people who have a developmental disability or children with autism in Ottawa and the Eastern Region (Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Prescott Russell and Renfrew). We help people find available resources in the community that are needed to assist them in their daily lives. We empower families/individuals to make informed choices about the supports they seek. SCS is a not-for-profit bilingual organization managed by a volunteer board of directors.
Nous sommes une organisation centrée sur la personne qui répond aux besoins des enfants et des adultes ayant une déficience intellectuelle Service Coordination Soutien (SCS) est le point de contact initial pour les personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle ou pour les enfants ayant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme à Ottawa et dans la région de l’Est (comtés de Stormont, Dundas et Glengarry, de Prescott Russell et de Renfrew). Nous aidons ces personnes à trouver les ressources disponibles dans la collectivité dont elles ont besoin pour les aider dans leurs vies quotidiennes. Nous donnons aux familles et aux personnes les moyens de faire des choix éclairés concernant les services qu’elles souhaitent obtenir. SCS est un organisme bilingue à but non lucratif géré par un conseil d’administration composé de bénévoles. Nous sommes à la recherche de bénévoles de la région d’Ottawa et la région de l’Est. Les candidats idéaux possèdent une expérience démontrée en gouvernance et en fonctions liées à un conseil d’administration, font preuve d’un solide leadership et possèdent une expertise dans des • Technologies de l’information; • Leadership communautaire; • Connaissance du secteur des services aux personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle. • Ressources humaines; Nous sommes déterminés à constituer un conseil d’administration qui reflète la diversité des communautés que nous souhaitons servir.
