Throughout the summer, check off the bucket list items in this book as you complete them—there are activities in all areas. At the end of the summer, if you have 10 boxes checked, be sure to bring this book to the Youth office for a special prize.

Junior Tennis Camp Ages 5–10 (Orange & Red Ball) Mondays–Thursdays 8:30–11:00 AM $65/day Young players will learn the basics of tennis, while enjoying fun tennis-related drills and games.
Competition Level Ages 10 and up (Green & Yellow Ball) Mondays–Thursdays 1:00–3:00 PM $55/day This camp is designed for competitive juniors who are currently playing tournaments and playing or preparing to play school tennis.

Parent/Tot Swim Socials Ages 2 years and under
This class is designed for parents and children age 2 years and younger to get your tots more comfortable in the water. The instructor will teach fun activities that are designed to encourage floating, kicking, and holding your breath. Refreshments are served at the social for the group to get to know one another. Learn to Swim Program Ages 3-6 years old Learn to Swim is a continual, progression-based program designed to motivate and encourage children to become proficient swimmers and continue on to Swim Team or Advanced Swim. Advanced Swim Ages 7-8 years old The Advanced Swim program is designed for advanced swimmers who have demonstrated proficiency in the Learn to Swim program skills. Swimmers will work on stroke refinement and building endurance to prepare them for the Devilfish Swim Team in the future. Devilfish Swim Team Ages 8-18 years old* Participants on the team learn and refine their strokes to then compete against other clubs in the James River Aquatic Club. All new Devilfish swimmers must complete a Program Placement. Call the Aquatics Manager, Danielle, at 287-1420 to schedule a placement.

Program Placements are carried out by our Aquatics staff to work with you and your children to find the program that best fits his or her skill level and swim goals. Placements last about 10 minutes and allow children to demonstrate the swim skills they currently possess to place them in a CCV Swim Program to help them reach their swimming goals.
