DELIVERY AND BOARD • We are more than happy to deliver your purchases and will do so for a guaranteed delivery fee based on your state. Any additional cost incurred above and beyond the guaranteed rate will be covered by Bred for Balance. We will do our best to get the cattle as close to your farm as possible. If you so choose, bulls will be boarded free of charge, semen checked and then delivered. • We ask that females are either picked up sale day or delivered with in the week following the sale. • Further delivery details are listed on Page 3. HERD HEALTH We engage in an aggressive Johnes testing protocol. A comprehensive vaccination program for clostridial, respiratory, and reproductive diseases as well as strategic treatment for external and internal parasites is conducted. Please consult the owners or the veterinary team for more information about the supervised programs. Health papers will be available for shipment within the United States and Canada upon completion of any required testing. GENETIC DEFECTS All animals selling are free of Arthrogryposis Multiplex (AM), Developmental Duplication(DD), Neuropathic Hydrocephalus (NH) and Contractural Arachnodactyl (CA) unless otherwise noted in the footnotes. The American Simmental Association is actively collecting hoof score data to ensure Simmental cattle keep the quality hoof they are known for. We score every bull to better give you an idea of how their hoof is shaped and any bull that is out of bounds is culled. Each bull’s hoof score is listed in their lot box with the first number being the CLAW score and second being the FOOT ANGLE score. It is important to match the right hoof with the right environment and we hope these scores can help you do that.
