The Prescott and Russell Residence Foundation announced a $6,500 dona- tion to the Foundation, a significant contribution that directly supports the organization’s mission and reaffirms its commitment to the health, well-being, and quality of life of residents in the Prescott and Russell region. The official presentation of the donation took place during the special meeting of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) Council held on December 17. On this occasion, the outgoing president of the UCPR, Yves Laviolette, performed his last official act of the year by redistributing the president’s funds to several local non-profit organizations and charities working within the community.
