Welcome to our annual spring production sale. Raymond and Betty Petersek started this cow herd and family over 70 years ago. The herd and family has grown. We are now at 5 generations deep and couldn’t be more proud of the opportunities we have been given along the way. We have been able to work with some great customers and families that have allowed us to keep building our brand. We are very humbled by this and appreciate the opportunity. This year’s offering includes 295 yearling bulls. We continue to emphasize the impor- tance of the cow and to build these bulls with the proven females that have built our program to where it is. We lean into the good cows and take advantage of flushing them to produce the matings and consistency that we want and our customers expect. The bulls have been developed to keep soundness and longevity in check. Slow growth and age (Jan.-Feb.) born bulls has been a building recipe that has worked. These guys are 15-16 months of age when turned out and are mature and stout enough to cover females.
We strongly believe that phenotype and maternal come first and that has been a big driver of our program. Our customer base has expressed that along with the importance of being able to add performance on top of maternal to create a balance. Customer satisfaction is our goal and will continue to provide that. We do enjoy working with numerous families and operations in this business. Please feel free to contact any one of us.
